A Manhattan Christian College student pursuing a degree in the LEAD Program was presented with a grant check by members of PEO, Chapter IW, of Manhattan Wednesday afternoon. Colleen Musil  of Eskridge received the check from IW’s Continuing Education Chair Cathy Scroggs, with committee members Sydney Carlin and Usha Reddi also present. Cheryl Arthur, who also served on the committee, was not present.

The PEO Program for Continuing Education is a grant program providing financial assistance to women whose education has been interrupted and who find it necessary to return to school to support themselves and/or their families. The LEAD Program at MCC is specifically designed for adults who need to complete a degree which was already started, but for whatever reason they were not able to complete their degree at that time.
