A Kansas State graduate student entered a not guilty plea to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated battery in Riley County court on Monday.
According to blood alcohol testing released several months after the accident, Miles Theurer, 24, was over the legal limit of .08 when his Chevy truck hit 31-year-old Elizabeth Young’s Buick sedan on K-18 on May 14th at 3 am. Young and her passenger, Micheal Stanley, 32, were killed in the collision. Three passengers in Theurer’s vehicle were also taken to Mercy Regional Health Center for their injuries, with two having serious injuries.
Theurer’s next hearing will be held on April 9, 2013.
