The 87th Annual Meeting and Banquet of the Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce was held on Friday Night at the Manhattan Conference Center, and featured a look back at the progress of the community over the past year.
Presentations highlighted development in the area such as the spacious Manhattan Conference Center, and improvements to build infrastructure such as the addition of more flights to the local airport.
C. Clyde Jones was named Volunteer of the Year, and Bruce Snead received the Lud Fiser Citizen of the Year. Both men received standing ovations from those gathered at the ceremony.
