Riley County Police are investigating an armed robbery complaint, reported early Thursday morning in the 900 block of Village Drive. The complaint was made at the Riley County Police Department on Seth Child at 12:50 a.m.. This robbery reportedly occurred approximately one hour prior to police arriving on scene and filing the report. No injuries were listed.
Upon further investigation into the matter officers found that Ryan Weber, 21, and Tyler Harris, 20, had become the victims of a robbery which involved four unknown black males, with some armed with handguns. The subjects entered a home and demanded items of value. The unknown suspects are described as having a medium build and were wearing masks and dark colored clothing.
Suspects fled the scene with two game consoles and several mobile phones. Crime Scene Investigators were able to locate and recover some of these items.
