TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) A burglary suspect is jailed after fleeing from authorities and crashing his pickup truck into the house he’d just broken into.
Lt. Jason Gill of the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department says that when officers responded Thursday night to a burglary call, the suspect was still at the home. KAKE reports that the suspect fled, leading to a three-minute chase.
The chase ended when the truck crashed through the front door of the house where it all began. The suspect knows the person living at the house, and Gill said they had been having “domestic issues.”
No one was hurt.
