Screening of “The Journey” @ Pawnee Mental Health Services

November 22 is International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day, a day when suicide loss survivors gather to find strength in the knowledge that they are not alone.

Pawnee Mental Health Services will host a screening of The Journey, a new documentary that tells the stories of a diverse group of suicide loss survivors. After the film, a member of Pawnee’s treatment team will host a post screening discussion and Q & A session.

The screenings will be held on Saturday November 22 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm at the Pawnee offices located at:

Public Input Meeting @ Riley Centre

The second meeting to allow the public to review and comment on two draft public building commission documents will be held on Monday, November 14th at 7:00 pm at the Riley Centre in Riley.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

10th Annual Country Christmas @ Deep Creek Community Center

Deep Creek Needlecraft Club will have their 10th Annual Country Christmas at the Deep Creek Community Center located southeast of Manhattan on Hwy 177 then 3 1/2 miles on Deep Creek Road,  on Friday December 5th from 2:00 – 6:00 pm and on Saturday,  December 6th from 9:00 am to 12 Noon.  There will be handmade wearable and decorating items as well as homemade cookies, breads, pies, jellies and candies.  One of the members has donated a quilt to be given away during the festivities.  Samples of baked goods along with hot drinks will be available both days.
