K-State has it’s ninth known commitment for the 2015 recruiting class in the form of Mill Valley (KS) offensive tackle Evan Applegate. Applegate tweeted his commitment Friday afternoon:

I just committed to be a KSU WILDCAT!!! Thank you to all the coaches who have recruited me.

The 6-foot-6, 270 pound Applegate is listed as a three-star prospect by and is the seventh best prospect in the state of Kansas. He has listed offers from Arkansas, Nebraska, Oklahoma State and many others.

Applegate becomes the fourth K-State commitment from the state of Kansas in 2015, joining Lawrence Free State offensive lineman Scott Frantz, Bishop Carroll athlete Denzel Goolsby and Hays quarterback Alex Delton.
