Once again a former Junction City minister accused in several indecent liberties cases is going through the court process.
During a status hearing for 26-year-old Jordan Young, Young’s new counsel requested a status hearing in 60 days, with the state opposing the status and requesting a preliminary hearing setting. The court ordered a preliminary hearing for Young on November 7 and 8 with a status check on October 29.
Young was appointed a public defender last week after he backed out of a plea bargain involving allegations he sexually abused young boys in his church’s congregation.
