ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. (AP) An administrator at an Oregon community college will be the new president of Cowley College in Arkansas City.
The college’s board voted Thursday to hire Clark Williams to lead the college. He will replace Patrick McAttee, who retired at the end of 2012 after serving as Cowley’s president for 25 years.
The Arkansas City Traveler reports Williams currently is the vice president and chief operating officer for Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton, Ore.
Williams will begin his new job on July 8.
