ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Former Kansas all-American Jacque Vaughn says he’s humbled and excited to become the Magic’s next head coach. The 37-year-old takes over the team with the status of star center Dwight Howard uncertain. Howard has asked to be traded and made it clear he doesn’t want to remain with the Magic. Vaughn takes over for Stan Van Gundy, who was fired in May. He has no head coaching experience, but has served as an assistant coach with San Antonio.
