Topeka High jumped out to a 25-5 lead after one quarter and never looked back. The Trojans were led by Jaryn Benning, who scored 23 points.

Kelsey Gordon’s 14 points led the Spartans over HP.

(3-16) Junction City – 44
(14-4) vs. Washburn Rural – 71

The Junior Blues put up 48 points in the first half, easily running past JC to finish 2nd in the Centennial League.

(18-1) Manhattan – 65
(8-11) vs. Shawnee Heights – 30

The Lady Indians had no problem finishing league play undefeated. MHS led 21-6 after the opening quarter. Gigi McAtee led three scorers in double figures with 15 points.

Despite not having any players score more than 10 points, Seaman cruised over T-West thanks to a balanced effort.

Rural held off the upset-minded Blue Jays, who stayed within striking distance the whole game.

MHS trailed by one at halftime, but played tremendous defense in the second half to secure a third-straight league championship.

Seaman’s Tyler Linn scored 21 points, and did so by hitting 7 three-pointers, including making his final six attempts.
