– Manhattan High softball split with Rossville. The Indians scored four runs in the seventh to win game one 7-6 and lost game two 11-1.
– Manhattan High girls soccer dominated Emporia in a 5-0 win. Cailey Perkins had three goals and two assists.
– Manhattan High boys tennis finished in third after hosting Junction City, Highland Park and Marysville. Beniah Gorman won 8-1 and the doubles teams of Ben and Matt Turnley and Kevin Harper and Jacob Richard won as well.
– Manhattan High boys golf finished second behind Washburn Rural at the Manhattan Invitational. Pierson McAtee shot a 75 to lead the way for the Indians. He finished third overall.
– Riley County baseball swept Wabaunsee by winning 18-6 and 16-1. Trace Nelson was 3-4 with two home runs and six RBI in game one. The Falcons are now 6-2.
– Rock Creek baseball beat Chapman 16-1 and 18-8. Alex Feldkamp, Jackson Goodmiller, Zach Nider, Kyle Riffel and Caleb Rogge all had at least one 3 RBI game. The Mustangs are now 7-1.
– Rock Creek softball beat Clay Center 6-5 and then lost 7-0 in game two.
– Rock Creek girls track finished third at the Royal Valley High School April Invitational. Hayden Schlochtermeier won the long jump and 100 meter hurdles. Rachel Forrester won the pole vault and triple jump.
– The Rock Creek boys track team finished ninth at Royal Valley. Michael Zabel won the discus with a throw of 146-08.
– Wamego softball swept Concordia by winning 16-2 and 14-4.
