Brady Sanders scored 18 points including 12 off three-pointers allowing Texas to race out to an 11-point halftime lead on their way to a 76-58 win over Kansas State Wednesday night in Big 12 Women’s Basketball action at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin.
Sanders was one of four Longhorns in double figures as three other players Brooke McCarty, Ariel Atkins and Imani McGee Stafford each poured in 11 points.
Leading the way for the Wildcats were Haley Texada with 17 points and Breanna Lewis with 13.
Kansas State (15-10, 5-9) returns to Bramlage Coliseum on Saturday night for the annual Play 4 Kay game against Oklahoma. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m.
