The hunt for the G-Thomas Jewelers / Manhattan Running Company Jingle Bell Rock in 2012 is OVER! The Jingle Bell Rock has been FOUND! Congrats to Brian!

1. (December 3rd,2012)
   
   Welcome back, craggy hunters! Skip the weather, check the clock.
   Though no snow, the quest’s on for the Jingle Bell Rock.
   Mind these clues, you could win, with a cash prize extra nifty:
   Find the rock with a hunting tag, get presented twelve hundred fifty

2. (December 4th,2012)
   
   To win our sack of presents, you’ll need a little school,
   And it’s lovely weather for our first jingle rule.
   Just like going on a merry sleigh ride,
   To find the rock, giddy-up, let’s go– outside.

   Twinkling lights, cheery songs, the frosty ring of silver bells!
   This season’s best enjoyed outside a prison cell.
   That your stocking be stuffed with not coal, but a prize,
   Make sure not to damage, trespass or vandalize!

4. (December 6th,2012)
   
   He watches you sleep, old St. Nick and his beard,
   It’s fine when he does it, but a rock? That’d be weird.
   The Jingle Bell Rock respects your private space,
   So you’ll only want to search in a public place.

5. (December 7th,2012)
   
   It’s finally the most wonderful time of the year.
   Now that we know the rules, we can get in gear.
   When you first set out on your Rock-hunting retreat,
   Look to the biggest ocean from Romeo’s favorite street.

   (The biggest ocean is the Pacific,which is to the west; Romeo’s favorite street would be Juliette; and so west of Juliette)

6. (December 10th,2012)
   
   We pursued ranks and Heismans, a National title,
   But with that season on break, time to hunt something more vital.
   To find our rock, here’s some coaching with wisdom to instill:
   Kick it south from what we’ll call the Jingle Bill.

   Oh come, all ye seekers of seasonal stone!
   We jingle ever closer, so let it be known:
   To be joyful and triumph, don’t overwork it,
   When chasing the dusk, stop at the directional circuit.

   (Chasing the dusk—moving west (following the sunset); directional circuit—Westloop; so stay east of Westloop)

   Yes, Virginia, there is a Jingle Bell Rock.
   It’s in the smile of a child, in a friendly talk.
   It’s also in a real place, so here’s your chance to be richer:
   Stay on Santa’s side of the state’s second to move pictures.

   (Santa’s side—north; The Wareham Opera House was the second theater in the state to show films; so north of the Wareham)

9. (December 13th,2012)
   
   Twelve days before Christmas, and the rock’s still not found,
   Could be be up in a pear tree, or under lords leapin’ around.
   But that’s highly unlikely, so here’s some real help to derive:
   Stay to the south after taking a hundred-year drive.

   (Hundred-year drive—Centennial Drive; while this was a boundary clue, our winner took this as a corridor, which led him directly to Aggieville and the Rock)
