K-State Volleyball Falls at Texas Tech

The K-State volleyball team was poised to take a two sets to one lead on Wednesday night at Texas Tech with a 23-18 advantage, but the Lady Raiders rallied to take control by scoring nine of the final 11 points of the third set.  Tech went on to win the match in four sets over the Cats, 25-20, 21-25, 27-25, and 25-13 at United Spirit Arena in Lubbock.

Courtney Traxson led K-State (15-8, 3-7) with 13 kills.  Katie Brand topped the Cats with both 41 assists and 18 digs.  Taylor Johnson broke her career-high with 10 blocks.  Texas Tech (9-18, 2-9) got 23 kills from Jenna Allen.

K-State volleyball will host West Virginia on Saturday night at 7:00pm at Ahearn Fieldhouse.  Pregame begins at 6:30 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN.
