Klein awaits Heisman Vote

After picking up the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Friday night in Baltimore, Kansas State Quarterback Collin Klein made his way to New York City where on Saturday night the Heisman Trophy will be handed out at the Downtown Athletic Club.

Klein is one of three finalists for the award joined by Texas A&M Quarterback Johnny Manziel and Notre Dame Lineback Mantei Te’o. Klein is the second player from K-State to be Heisman Finalist. In 1998, Quarterback Michael Bishop finished second in the balloting to Texas Running Back Ricky Williams. In 2003, Running Back Darren Sproles finished fifth but was not a finalist for the award.

The Heisman Trophy Presentation can be heard this evening on Sportsradio 1350 KMAN beginning at 7:00.
