A Burdick man was killed in a rollover accident late Saturday night.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 48-year old Marlin Miser was driving a 1993 Dodge Pickup eastbound on U.S. Highway 56 about four miles east of Herrington shortly before 11:30 Saturday night when the vehicle strayed into oncoming traffic. Miser then over-corrected the vehicle and lost control entering the south ditch and rolled before coming to rest in the roadway facing north. Miser was pronounced dead at the scene.
It does not appear alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident but Miser was not wearing a seat belt.
