A Manhattan teenager has died from injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident Friday night in the 2400 block of Marlatt Avenue.
According to Riley County Police, the vehicle driven by Brett Bolton left the roadway and rolled. Police say bystanders pulled Bolton from the vehicle shortly before it was engulfed in flames. He was taken to Mercy Regional Health Center and then transported to Via Christi in Wichita, where Bolton passed at 8:30 Saturday morning. There were no passengers in the vehicle. The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. Friday night. No other details surrounding the accident are available.
Bolton was a sophomore at Manhattan High School.
