K-State junior Rodney McGruder capped a successful trip to eastern Europe by being named to the Four Nations Cup all-tournament team. McGruder averaged 13.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.7 steals in three games for the East Coast All-Stars in Estonia. The tournament conisted of the group of American college players and three national teams. McGruder hit the game winner on Friday against Sweden, notched 22 points and 14 rebounds in a loss Saturday to Georgia, and scored 9 points as the East Cost All-Stars couldn’t hang on Sunday against Estonia. He was the only American named to Four Nations Cup all-tourney team, and is the second Wildcat this summer to receive such an honor. Sophomore guard Will Spradling was named to the all-tournament team on Athletes in Action’s trip to Macedonia and Kosovo in May.
