Rodney McGruder and Jordan Henriquez each played over 24 minutes in their final NBA summer league games Friday.
Henriquez followed up yesterday’s line of six points and eight rebounds with seven points and seven rebounds in just over 31 minutes of action in an 85-77 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He shot 3-10 from the floor in the loss. It was the first start of the summer league season for Henriquez.
McGruder scored three points and grabbed four rebounds in nearly 25 minutes on the floor during a 102-83 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Former Manhattan High School standout Jackie Carmichael did not play in the Miami Heat’s final summer league game this afternoon, a 90-85 win over the Detroit Pistons.
The three likely won’t find out their NBA fate until September when teams bring select rookies to training camp.
