Manhattan High finished at the top of the Centennial League all-sports standings for the 2014-15 school year.
Each year the results are tallied with ten points awarded for the league champion (nine points for second place, etc.) in each individual sport. The Indians led the way with 172.5 total points, while Washburn Rural was second with 160.5 points.
Manhattan was first in the boys standings with 95.5 points and second to Washburn Rural in the girls standings with 82.5 points. The Indians won outright or shared a league championship in football, boys and girls basketball, boys and girls cross country, girls track and boys tennis.
Manhattan has finished first in the all-sports standings three straight years and in five of the last six years. It’s the eighth straight year that Manhattan has finished in first in the boys standings.
