The Kansas High School Activities Association has released the new districts that will be in effect for the 2014-2015 season for football around the state of Kansas.
In 6A, Manhattan High will have a new team to District 5 with the loss of Junction City and the addition of Lawrence Free State. Topeka High and Washburn Rural will remain in Manhattan’s district.
In 4A division I, Centennial league member Hayden will be in District 6 with Andover Central, El Dorado and Circle. NCKL member Abilene will be in district 8 with Buhler, Hays and McPherson. In 4A division II, Wamego and Chapman will be in district 6 with Smoky Valley and Nickerson. Clay Center and Concordia will be in district 7 with Colby and Goodland.
In 3A, Centralia, Rock Creek and St. Marys will be in district 2 with Nemaha Central. Rossville and Silver Lake will be in district 4 with Osage City and Oskaloosa. District 13 will consist of Riley County, Marysville, Washington County and Minneapolis.
In 2-1A, Valley Heights, Onaga and Wabaunsee will be in district 2 along side Jackson Heights and Valley Falls.
In 8-Man division I, Clifton Clyde and Hanover will be in district 4 with Lakeside, Lincoln, Rock Hills, Osborne and Wakefield.
In 8-Man division II, Axtell, Frankfort, Linn and Blue Valley will be in district 1 with Pike Valley and Southern Cloud.
