The Flint Hills Area Transportation Agency (aTa) will host a Ribbon Cutting on Monday, September 9 at 2 p.m. at their new transit facility on the Southeast corner of Tuttle Creek Boulevard and Marlatt Avenue in Manhattan on the Riley County Public Works grounds. Following the Ribbon Cutting and Open House will be held to allow citizens to get a look at the facility. Officials say the new facility will allow Flint Hills aTa to better serve the citizens of Manhattan and Riley County, Green Valley and St. George in Pottawatomie County as well as Ft. Riley and Junction City.
Meanwhile, this week the stops were the new aTa bus signs are located will take effect replacing the old routes.
