An Ogden man facing charges for attempted murder, aggravated robbery, and aggravated burglary pleaded no contest in a preliminary hearing Thursday, Jan. 22. In agreeing to this plea, the suspect, Johnny Cossey, also waived his rights to a jury trial.
Judge Meryl Wilson read through Cossey’s charges, which included the infliction of bodily harm by stabbing the victim, identified as Vincent Taylor of Ogden, in the neck, and striking him with a blunt object.
Cossey’s next court appearance was set for Monday, Mar. 9th at 2:30 p.m.
