K-State head men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber announced on Monday morning that freshman guard Michael Orris will transfer to another school. In a press release from K-State, Weber says in his discussions with Orris about his future, the player decided this gives him the best chance to be successful. Weber says Orris is a quality young man that he’s known for a long time, and wishes him nothing but the best as he moves forward.
Orris is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound point guard from Crete, IL, and saw action in 15 games for the Wildcats this season, averaging 0.3 points on 50 percent shooting with 0.5 assists in 3.3 minutes per game.
