A native of Leawood, KS, Andy has been with KMAN since 2009 and a resident of Manhattan since 2001. He is an alumni of Kansas State University with a degree in Social Science. Andy’s interest in news started at a very early age from a visit with the cub scouts to the local CBS-TV affiliate’s studios in Kansas City. After a few twists and turns along the career path of life, Andy finally decided to give his dreams of broadcasting a shot. Lucky for him, it worked out.
Andy is the Host of the Saturday edition of “KMAN Morning News” and occasionally substitutes for the weekday morning team. He also co-hosts the Saturday morning call-in show, “Blueville’s Horticulture Hints” along with horticulture expert Nancy, from Blueville Nursery. In his spare time, Andy enjoys being with his family and friends (especially his dog, Chomps), hunting, and cheering for the K-State Wildcats.
