Dan Page

Originally from Derby, Kansas, born in Wichita, KS. Currently a Senior at Kansas State University majoring in Journalism and Mass Communication. Before transferring to Kansas State,  attended Butler Community College in El Dorado, KS where he earned an Associates in Arts.

While at Butler, he spent two years on scholarship in the Sports Media program broadcasting Grizzly Athletics on KBTL-FM including the 2008 NJCAA Football Championship from Salt Lake City, UT and writing for the college newspaper. In 2010, he received an award at the Kansas Association of Collegiate Press Awards in the Best Sports Column category.

At Derby High School, he was a three sport athlete (Football, Basketball, and Track) and excelled in Broadcasting curriculum.

Along with his experience with KMAN, he has served as the News Director at KSDB-FM The Wildcat 91.9. In the past, he’s worked for Vype High School Sports Magazine in Wichita, KS and Kansas Pregame Magazine in Lincoln, KS as a feature writer as well as a football preview reporter.

Dan is a huge film enthusiast, but does not have a clear all-time favorite. He is a firm believer in perseverance and feels very blessed to be where he is today.
