A jury trial that was supposed to be held early next month will no longer take place, as a plea agreement regarding the case was presented in Riley County District Court Wednesday morning.
Kaywaun Washington faces charges stemming from an October of 2014 incident, where he reportedly held two women at gunpoint. He appeared in court alongside his attorney, Britian Stites. Stites informed Chief Judge, Meryl Wilson a plea agreement had been reached.
Washington pled no contest to two counts of kidnapping, as the other charges were dismissed during the motion’s hearing.
Wilson found Washington guilty on both charges, and set sentencing for May 4th at 2:30 p.m.
