Riley County Police were called to investigate an incident of aggravated battery Thursday at about 11 pm.
According to the report, Clayton Smith, 35, of Manhattan, was using an improvised weapon to inflict bodily harm on a female victim known to him, which resulted in significant injury.
Smith was arrested for domestic related aggravated battery and criminal threat and he was being held on a $15,000 bond at the Riley County Jail.
The Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan woman Thursday night.
Jordan Hofman, 24, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant with an original charge of driving while having a suspended drivers license.
Hofman was being held on a $10,000 bond.
