The Riley County Police Department filed a total of 52 police reports and made 16 arrests over the period of this past weekend.
Details were provided Monday regarding a single vehicle collision KMAN first told you about early Friday morning, occurring at approximately 7:25 AM on Tuttle Creek Blvd. east of 76th road in Riley County. Riley County Police said Monday Cory Huff, 29, of Clay Center, was traveling east on Tuttle Creek Blvd. on his 2002 Kawasaki Motorcycle when he attempted to pass vehicles in front of him. Huff lost control and left the roadway in order to avoid a collision with oncoming traffic. He received injuries from the ground and was transported for those non-life threatening injuries. He has since been treated and released. The case is currently under investigation, and no citations have been issued at the time of this report.
Terrance Bise, 45, of Manhattan, was arrested on October 4th for an aggravated assault and a criminal restraint warrant stemming from events that occurred in August of this year. Bise is confined in Riley County Jail on a 10,000 bond.
RCPD received several more reports of damaged mail boxes over the weekend. In the 900 block of Claflin and the 1300 block of Juliette, several residents reported that their mail boxes were broken or damaged.
