Riley County Police responded to a complaint of aggravated sexual battery, battery, and criminal restraint in the city limits of Manhattan Thursday evening involving a 19 year old female victim.
According to RCPD, a number of arrests have been made in this incident.
Logan Davis (17), of Geneseo, Kansas and Michael Young (20), of Wichita, were arrested for aggravated sexual battery, battery, and criminal restraint, while Ashlea Griswold (21), of Edwardsville, Kansas was arrest for aggravated sexual battery.
Bond amounts were set at $5,000.
A burglary report from Cody Place here in Manhattan is still under investigation.
Glennys Bills (73), of Manhattan, reported to the Riley County Police that sometime between April 2011 and early February 2014, items were removed from a fire safe belonging to her.
The items taken included several pieces of jewelry valued at approximately $5,250.
According to RCPD, no arrests have been made at this time.
Neglecting a warrant sends a Manhattan man to the Riley County jail Thursday afternoon.
Mohammed Abduljabbar (26), of Manhattan, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear with the original offense of stalking.
Abduljabbar was served a protection order prohibiting contact with the victim. His bond was set at $14,000.
A Manhattan man lands in the Riley County Jail Thursday morning for violating the terms of his probation.
Denzel Leonard (21), of Manhattan, was arrested for two motions to revoke probation warrants. The original offenses were domestic battery and failure to register as required by the Kansas Offender Registration Act.
Leonard’s bond was set at $30,000.
