Riley County Police filed a report of theft over the weekend near the intersection of 10th street and Fair lane in Manhattan.
In the report, Darrin Anderson (40) of Manhattan stated that his blue, 2004 Chevy Monte Carlo, valued at approximately just over $5,000, had been taken without his permission. Anderson told police that his vehicle was taken while he was at work.
Anyone with knowledge of the vehicle’s whereabouts should contact RCPD or the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.
Police filed a report of a burglary to a vehicle in the 1700 block of Laramie in Manhattan on Sunday.
Kaitlin Shea (23) of Kansas City, Missouri told police that some time between Friday and Sunday, several items were taken from her vehicle including a laptop computer, a USB port and a black and tan bag.
The total estimated loss is just over $1,000.
RCPD responded to a complaint of criminal damage to property in the 600 block of N. 8th Street in Manhattan.
Kaitlin Mitchell (24) of Manhattan told police that someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked over night.
Police found that four tires had been punctured and or damaged creating a total estimated loss of $1,000.
Currently police are asking the public to share any information related to this crime.
