Police Report 6/2

Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan man for a myriad of crimes stemming from a vehicle burglary over the weekend.

Brandon Crubel (27) was charged with Identity Theft, Computer Crime, Burglary, Theft, and Criminal Use of a Financial Card.

He is currently being held at the Riley County Jail on a $20,000 bond.

Riley County Police arrested Christopher Kneisel (31) over the weekend for two probation violations.

The first probation violation warrant was issued by Riley County District Court stemming from a previous charge of distribution of hydromorphone.  The second probation violation warrant was issued by the Manhattan Municipal Court stemming from a previous charge of theft.

Kniesel was held at the Riley County Jail, but was released after posting his $5,700 bond.

Police arrested Marcus Bates (26) of Osage City on two failure to appear warrants over the weekend. 

The first warrant was issued by the Riley County District Court stemming from a previous charge of distribution of a controlled substance.  The second was issued by the Manhattan Municipal Court stemming from a previous charge of giving a worthless check.  

Bates is currently being held at the Riley County Jail on a $16,000 bond.

Riley County Police arrested a Manhattan man on Sunday for a domestic incident which occurred the previous day.

David Jeppesen (21) was arrested at the Riley County Police Department for Aggravated Domestic Battery. His victim is reported as a 26-year-old female. Because the incident is domestic in nature, further details are unavailable at this time. 

Jeppesen is currently being held at the Riley County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
