Four are behind bars as the result of a drug arrest this weekend.

 

Riley County police told reporters on Monday that there were multiple arrests as a result of an ongoing drug investigation at the 400 block of Ashwood Alley in Ogden just after 9:00 Saturday night.

 

Mark Whitt (39) and Melissa Frakes (26), both of Wamego, and  Michael Baker (50)  and Cynthia Reed (39) were each charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Frakes and Baker were also charged with child endangerment since a one year old male child was found at the home.

 

Bond for each was set at $10,000. The child was remanded to child protective services pending a final decision from the court.

Two separate failure to appear warrants lead to the arrest of two Junction city men.

 

Jason Judd (18) of Pearl Drive in Junction City was held on a warrant for failing to appear with an original charge of burglary of a vehicle.

 

Judd is held on $5,000 bond.

 

Crashawn Hart (18) of 13th Street in Junction City was held on a warrant issued out of Riley County for failing to appear just after 3:00 Saturday afternoon. The original charge was for burglary to a motor vehicle.

Bond was set at $5,000

A warrant from Riley County was issued for failure to appear over the weekend.

Riley County police arrested Dillon Stevens in Johnson County this weekend for possesion of hallucinogenic with a prior conviction.

Bond was set at $25,000.

A local auto repair shop is missing a vehicle after an incident of theft over the weekend.

Riley County police told reporters on Monday that sometime between 5:30 and 8:00 Saturday morning, a 1994 Chevy 1500 pickup truck was removed from the property of A&H auto repair located at the 700 block of 6th Street. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys inside.

Total loss in this case is $4,500 and police are investigating.

A Manhattan man is missing some firearms after a case of theft was reported this weekend.

Kenneth Reeder (47) of the 100 block of Brookstone Circle reported to Riley County police that a person known to him entered his home sometime between 3:30 PM on May 23rd and 9:00 PM on May 27th and removed two handguns and cash, without his consent.

Total loss is $2,200 and police are investigating.
