Stock-Police-Sirens-150x150Several drug offenses sends two Manhattan men to Riley County Jail.

David Duncan, 20, and  Morgan Clay, 21, were arrested Thursday night following a search warrant of their home.

Duncan was arressted for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawful use of a telecommunication device, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, no Kansas drug tax stamp, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Duncan was held on a $5,000 bond and has since been released.

Clay was arrested for the offenses of possession of opiates, opium, narcotic drugs, or stimulants that are prohibited as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

Clay was held on a $2,000 bond and has since been released.

The investigations into the distribution of illegal drugs in Manhattan and Riley County are ongoing.


The Riley County Police Department is investigating a theft that occurred between July and August.

Brian Still, 47, of Ogden told police Thursday that his Black Angus bull was taken from the 12000 block of Anderson Avenue without his permission.

Total loss for the theft is $2,500.

The suspects are unknown at this time.
