Nora Bello (34) reported Friday morning that someone had stolen $3000 worth of jewelry from her residence sometime between September 2013 to present. The jewelry consisted of earrings and 2 necklaces.
The Riley County Police Department released information Monday regarding an armed robbery, which took place Saturday.
Officers responded to 1031 Quivera Circle Apartment number two in Manhattan shortly before seven a.m. for a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the residence. The victims are listed as Robert Weber III (20) and Leonardo Santos (20) both of whom occupy the residence.
Weber and Santos along with another victim, Robert Weber (60) of Shawnee, reported that three unknown black males entered the apartment armed with firearms and stole US Currency.
Nobody was injured, and an investigation into the incident is on-going.
Riley County Police filed a report of aggravated indecent liberties with a child Sunday.
The report indicates a 10-year-old female and a 13-year-old-female were touched inappropriately by a 42-year-old male that is known to them.
No further details are available at this time, however an investigation into this incident is on-going.
A Manhattan man reported to Riley County Police Sunday that items were missing from his storage unit.
Anthony Hull (20) told police that his storage unit located at 6344 Tuttle Creek Blvd was burglarized sometime during the past few months.
Hull said several military items and household items were stolen, with an estimated loss valued at $10,000.
