Three arrests of note were reported this past weekend by Riley County Police.
29 year old Daniel Lee of Manhattan was arrested Saturday morning following A report of aggravated assault . The case reportedly occurred at approximately 4:00 AM in the northern part of Manhattan, Kansas.
Lee faces charges of aggravated assault, intimidation of a witness, domestic battery and criminal damage to property after he reportedly used a baseball style bat in a threatening manner during a domestic disturbance. Several items were damaged including a GMC truck, a phone and several household items were damaged. Victims in this case reportedly received only a minor injury from a scuffle and their information is being withheld due to the nature of this crime.
Lee was being held in lieu of 10-thousand dollars bond at Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
30 year old Travis Frazier of South Carolina was arrested for a failure to appear warrant out of Riley County. His original charge was failure to register as an offender. He was arrested at the Riley County Police Department Sunday night. He was held at Riley County Jail on $10,000 bond.
And 46 year old Paul Mann of Manhattan was arrested on two warrants on motions to revoke probation. He was arrested at the Courthouse Plaza in Manhattan bond was set at 10-thousand dollars. Mann’s original offense was abuse of toxic vapors and DUI.
A burglary was reported to police on Saturday in the 1200 block of Laramie Street.
Benjamin Geiger, 23, of Manhattan, reported that his Chevy truck was entered and several items were taken including a laptop, school supplies, and US currency. The total loss is unknown at this this time and no arrests have been made.
