Last week, the Pottawatomie County Commission decided to reject all of the current bids for the new EMS building.
On Monday a new design was put before the commission, they tweaked it and set Bruce Brazzle, fire supervisor, out to publish the notice so they can begin getting bids.
On October 29 at 10 am, the commission will open the bids for the new design of the building.
There was also an update from the health department by Leslie Campbell, department administrator, that included recommendations to get not only flu shots but to make sure to get for pertussis as well.
The commission also talked about dismissing the Crown-C project and seeing if the Kansas Department of Transportation could take the project and add a turn lane.
Other items that were presented to the commission included an update on the justice center, along with a recommendation for a part time employee.
