A Westmoreland man who faces burglary and theft charges has waived his preliminary hearing in Pottawatomie County Court and is set for a February arraignment. Nathan Woodyard’s arraignment is February 19th.
Woodyard’s residential and non-residential burglary counts and felony and misdemeanor theft charges relate to a May 11th incident.
Woodyard was also arrested that day by Riley County police after being involved in a motor vehicle collison near the 28-hundred block of Pillsbury Drive. The vehicle Woodyard was driving had been reported as stolen and he then reportedly attempted to steal another vehicle from the scene, battering two people in the process.
