A 36-year-old Marysville man waived his preliminary hearing in a Pottawatomie County case Friday that relates to running a vehicle into two Manhattan businesses the day after Christmas. Jason Butler’s arraignment is set for February 19th.
Butler’s charges include felony DUI, leaving the scene of an injury accident, abuse of toxic vapors, and driving while suspended. He was arrested later the same Friday morning he allegedly drove into the building housing Short Go and Staples just off Tuttle Creek Boulevard. The ’96 Buick Century he was driving was found a short time after the Staples damage was reported about a block from the damaged businesses.
