A man accused of a home invasion which according to police resulted in a Kansas State University student being shot in the upper torso had a pretrial hearing on Monday afternoon in Riley County District Court.
Levertis Horne faces multiple charges including aggravated robbery, and aggravated battery. The charges involve an alleged October 2012 home invasion. Authorities say during the incident KSU student Chase Cargile was shot in the upper torso.
The hearing was held in closed chambers. Judge John F. Bosch says items such as jury selection criteria, and other pretrial issues were hashed out, and Trial is set to take place on August 6th through the 8th.
