As earlier reported by KMAN, Riley County Police arrested Nicholas Boyer, 20, of Manhattan on several drug offenses to include possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia at felony and misdemeanor levels, and no Kansas drug tax stamp.
Boyer was taken into custody Friday at approximately 11:00 AM while in the 1400 block of Legore Lane, with bond set at $22,000.

As previously reported, a 21-year-old Manhattan man faces a burglary charge following his arrest Friday. Dylan Lambert-Perkins was take into custody in the 1400 block of Legore Lane at approximately 12:00 AM by officers with the Riley County Police Department.
Lambert-Perkins charges include burglary, interference with law enforcement, and driving with no driver’s license. His total bond was set at $7,000.

A Springfield, Missouri man was arrested on a Clay County, Kansas warrant for failure to appear in court Saturday afternoon. Riley County Police indicate that at approximately 12:25 PM Saturday Shannon Gibson, 31, was arrested by officers with the Riley County Police Department while in the 2500 block of Anderson Ave.
Gibson’s bond was set at $6,000.

Riley County Police are investigating a Sunday morning report of motor vehicle theft in the 2000 block of Ivy Drive. Patrick Prediger contacted police when he found his vehicle had been entered and items had been removed without his permission.
Items included a silver digital camera and packages of cigarettes. The total estimated loss and damage to his vehicle was $1,458. Officers continue to investigate and those with information are encouraged to contact the Manhattan Riley County Crime Stoppers.

The Riley County Police Department had its first of a series of seven DUI Saturation Patrols this past Friday evening into the early morning hours of Saturday.
Five officers from the Riley County Police Department were assigned to the Saturation Patrol. Officers working the Saturation Patrol stopped fifty-one (51) motorists. Of these, twelve (12) were evaluated for DUI resulting in two drivers being arrested for DUI.

Still no further details from Riley County Police regarding gunshots in the 600 block of N. 12th Street early Sunday morning. However sources have told KMAN the dispute may have been precipitated by an incident at an establishment in that vicinity involving the televised Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao heavyweight fight.
Police announced Sunday morning an adult male suspect was taken into custody and that more detailed arrest information will be supplied at a later time. However no further information is available on RCPD’s daily report (Sunday or Monday).
Police indicated one adult male victim was transported to Via Christi Hospital after the incident, with a gunshot wound. His injuries were not considered to be life-threatening and he has since been released from medical care.
