Report: K-State Men to Host Georgia NYE

K-State men’s basketball coach Bruce Weber told the guys on “Wildcat Insider” on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN a few weeks back that he wanted to schedule a BCS school for a game at Bramlage Coliseum next season.  Now it appears Weber is holding true to his word.
The Athens Banner-Herald is reporting that the Cats and Georgia will play a home-and-home series the next two seasons, starting with a December 31st, 2014 date in Manhattan.  The return trip to Athens would be December 22nd, 2015.  Georgia has signed off on the deal, while K-State is still finalizing its end of the contract.
The Cats are already set to play in the Maui Invitational & the Big 12/SEC Challenge, plus they have an unnamed opponent lined up for a December 22nd game at the Sprint Center.
