Due to inclement weather in the Kansas City area, tonight’s Royals game against the Chicago White Sox at Kauffman Stadium has been postponed. The Royals announced Friday afternoon that the game will be made up on Monday with a first pitch at 1:10 p.m. Monday had been a scheduled off day for the Royals.
This is the second day in a row the Royals have been affected by the weather. Thursday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays was called off after a delay of more than two hours when snow began to fall at Kauffman Stadium. The game was stopped with the Royals in front 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth inning. The game needed four and a half innings to be official. No makeup date for the snowout has been announced.
