A Manhattan man has been sentenced to more than seven years with the Kansas Department of Corrections on drug-related charges. Matthew Sundgren was sentenced Thursday morning in Pottawatomie County to 87 months.
Sundgren had entered a no contest plea last month to manufacturing methamphetamine. He was arrested in September of last year in the 7600 block of Cedar Creek Road in Manhattan, which is located in Pottawatomie county.
Other original charges included possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful use of a telecommunications device. The arrest was a result of a joint investigation conducted by the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s office and the Riley County Police department.
