After an Arizona arrest for sexual exploitation of a child charges, a Leonardville man was brought back to Riley County in March. KMAN has been following the case of John Thomas, who appeared in Riley County District Court for another status hearing Tuesday afternoon.
Thomas appeared, via web cam, alongside his attorney, Lora Ingels, who recently took the case over from a different attorney.
Judge William Malcolm set the matter for another status hearing, as Ingels wishes to address bond at that time.
As KMAN had previously reported, an affidavit was released in late March and referenced 100 counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Thomas only faces three of those charges though.
