A mere two weeks after the Riley County USD 378 School Board narrowly approved his resignation, embattled Superintendent Brad Starnes has a new job lined up.
Starnes confirmed to KMAN Tuesday afternoon published reports that he will be the new Superintendent at USD 329 in Wabunsee County, a district that includes schools in towns like Alma and Paxico.
Starnes submitted his resignation earlier this month to the USD 378 Board amid some friction between his office, some board members and some members of the community. It’s not known exactly when Starnes will begin his new job but his contract in Riley County expires June 30.
Starnes will be a guest Wednesday morning on KMAN’s In Focus.
