One Manhattan doctor has recently founded Kansas Aviation Medicine. Dr. Bradley Harrison of Manhattan Primary Care is a certified Senior Aviation Medical Examiner through the Federal Aviation Administration. Dr. Harrison tells KMAN he has been certified since 2012 to give flight physicals to pilots. He can give examinations to all classes of pilots, including air transport pilots. The Riley County Police Department has released a new program called VINE. VINE stands for Victim Information Notification Everyday. The program is a great way for victims and family members to keep track of their offenders. Dennis Butler, Riley County Police Department Director, says this is another way for them to enhance their services to the community. One Manhattan man has been arrested in connection with an incident last November. According to the Riley County Police Department, officers responded to a report of robbery and kidnapping on November 9, 2019. Officers reported a 29-year-old male and 32-year-old male pointed a gun at the 30-year-old victim and demanded money and his phone. Around 2 P.M. on August 26, 2020, 32-year-old Joseph Trevail of Manhattan was arrested on a warrant in connection with the incident. Trevail was arrested for aggravated robbery and aggravated kidnapping. His bond was set at $150,000 Trevail remains confined at this time.
