Baylor wide receiver Corey Coleman has been suspended by the Big 12 conference for the first half of Baylor’s game this Saturday against Iowa State as punishment for his block on K-State defensive back Kip Daily during Saturday’s 35-25 win for the Bears.
“As a result of our review and conclusion that Targeting should have been called, Mr. Coleman will be suspended for the first half of Baylor’s next game against Iowa State under Rule 9.1.4 of the NCAA Rules Book,” announced commissioner Bob Bowlsby in a statement.
The play in question came at the 13:29 mark of the second quarter. Daily didn’t return to the game after the hit.
