Call to MIAA Hall for K-State’s Hill

Long before he led K-State to the 2013 Big 12 title, regional championship, and a super regional berth, head baseball coach Brad Hill caught K-State’s eye by his work at Central Missouri State.  Hill, Brad - mugHill led the Mules to the 2003 Division II national championship, and won the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) regular season conference title all nine seasons he was in Warrensburg.  Hill was elected on Monday to the MIAA hall of fame.  He’ll be inducted on June 5th at a ceremony in Kansas City.  Hill was previously enshrined in the Central Missouri Hall of Fame, and also at his alma mater Emporia State.
The two-time Big 12 coach of the year will lead the Wildcats back to Nebraska on Tuesday night to face the Omaha Mavericks.  The Cats took two of three games over the weekend at Creighton.  First pitch at Werner Park, home of the Omaha Storm Chasers, is at 6:30pm, and coverage begins at 6:00 on NewsRadio 1350 KMAN with the BD4 Distributing/Cary Company pregame show.
